After The Credits - 10 Cloverfield Lane

Not related to the original Cloverfield in any way, but it's one effective thriller.

After The Credits: Chronic

Saw this one at the Miami Film Festival in, of course, Miami. Chronic is about a Hospice Nurse who cares for his patients so much, that he cares for them like their were his own family. I didn't know what to expect from Tim Roth's portrayal as that nurse, but it was very surprising. The film is deceptive in that character's arc. Really good film.

After The Credits: London Has Fallen

I didn't enjoy London Has Fallen like its predecessor, but it is still a time to be had. Just like the first film, it's a fairly insane adventure. Some of the CGI is an issue with unfinished explosions, planes that don't look entirely polished, but don't go into it expecting a Picasso. It doesn't have to be.

TFW Wanderer Confessions 3: R-Rated Comic Book Bonanza

Back with another episode of The Film Wanderer's Wanderer Confessions, where the topic of whether Hollywood needs to make comic book films R-rated. Also, I reviewed Race & Triple 9 before delving into the main topic at hand.

*P.S: Sorry for the loud PC motor in the background.

Wanderer Update, February 16, 2016

In the event that I haven't posted a new Wanderer Confessions episode or post a film review, I'll post these during times when I'm planning future things at The Film Wanderer. Currently, I've planned out new episodes for Wanderer Confessions & that Director's invitational piece that I'm doing on Zack Snyder and where that's going. Hopefully, I'll have some new episodes coming out this week.

After The Credits: Deadpool

If this is an indicator of how Comic Book Movies will be for 2016, then it's going to be a banner year (And Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hasn't come out yet). Deadpool is really a mea culpa by Ryan Reynolds, Tim Miller (director) & Fox to make up for the way they messed it up the first time with X-Men Origins. It's an hour and 48 minutes of fun, laughs, action, etc. I already want to see it again.

After The Credits: Pride & Prejudice & Zombies

It wasn't even half-bad, just that, it could've taken more chances with its content. The fact that it's a PG-13 film, rather than an R-rated film, was a bit of a dealbreaker. It's worthy of a matinee, for what it's worth.
